Friends of the Smokies

WHAT THEY DO: Friends of Great Smoky Mountains National Park assists the National Park Service in its mission to preserve and protect Great Smoky Mountains National Park by raising funds and public awareness, and providing volunteers for needed projects.

  • Donations of $35+ receive a one-year Friends of the Smokies membership plus registration for one guided group hike.
  • Donations of $50+ donations receive previous benefits plus koozie and trail map.
  • Donations of $100+ receive previous benefits plus entry into drawing for two tickets to the 2023 Smokies Stomp or Smokies Cup.
I support Friends of the Smokies because they provide funding to protect our native brook trout. But whatever you love about Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Friends supports! Whether it’s trails, old historic farmsteads, wildlife or beautiful views, Friends of the Smokies is working hard to care for our park so we can all enjoy it forever.
