Friends2Ferals (Buncombe Humane)
WHAT THEY DO: Since 2007, our mission has been to provide a long-term solution to feline overpopulation in Buncombe, Henderson and Madison counties. We support a high-volume community cat spay/neuter/vaccinate program for strays and ferals, as well as providing additional veterinary assistance for those in need. Our work has facilitated local shelters and rescues to achieve no-kill status. Due to an explosive increase in assistance requests, we must now utilize private veterinary clinics, in addition to the ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance, resulting in an even greater reliance on donations from the public. To date, we have provided services for over 16,000 cats.
Nancy and Friends2Ferals have helped me with a feral cat that got in my garage crawl space and had kittens.
