WHAT THEY DO: Providing a long-term solution to feline overpopulation in Buncombe, Henderson and Madison counties through a consistent trap-neuter-return program and low- or no-cost spay-neuter surgery at ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance (ASNA). In the 14 years since its founding, Friends2Ferals/HSBC has returned about 14,000 cats to responsible care with a rabies certificate designating the person responsible for renewing the shots. Friends2Ferals/HSBC provides an FVRCP vaccine, and cats are treated for parasites and minor wounds.

  • The Community Foundation of WNC will match all donations of $25 or more, up to $100 per donor, to any of the Give!Local Animal nonprofits, up to a maximum of $10,000 in matches.
To this day I am so thankful I met Nancy at Friends2Ferals because I am still using her services in Hendersonville on a regular basis. Recently, by our business, we’ve saved half a dozen cats from having more and re-homed one with a chip to her proper owner. A much-needed nonprofit that benefits so many animals and people in our area in WNC.
