WHAT THEY DO: MountainCare is an award-winning organization helping seniors thrive while continuing to live at home. Our weekday program for adults is more than a safe place; it’s a supportive community where participants enjoy meaningful relationships, nutritious meals, a wide range of activities, compassionate nursing support and personalized care. Many of the individuals we serve are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia, and live with devoted, unpaid caregivers who contact MountainCare seeking respite and guidance from our professional staff. With help from generous supporters, over half of our participants receive financial assistance to attend, making our mission accessible to all.
