EcoForesters

What They Do:

EcoForesters is a nonprofit professional forestry organization dedicated to restoring and conserving Appalachian forests through education and stewardship. Tropical Storm Helene dealt local forests a significant blow, and landowners need help restoring forest health and resiliency. Through community forestry programs, landowner workshops and stewardship collaborations, we emphasize sound ecological management. At our 10-year anniversary mark, we have covered over 200,000 acres in stewardship plans and treated 1,000 acres of permanently protected lands for invasive plants.
