What They Do:

MountainTrue brings together members, volunteers and advocates to safeguard our public lands, clean up our rivers and promote sustainable growth. By combining grassroots action with professional expertise, we’re building a healthier, more resilient future for our mountains and communities. In the wake of Tropical Storm Helene, we’ve launched a monumental cleanup effort to restore our rivers, create jobs and bring communities together. So far, we’ve cleaned up more than 3 million pounds of trash and debris from local waterways and are on track to hire more than 80 good-paying jobs to help us continue this work.

Incentives:

All donors receive a Native Plants guide.
The first 25 donors of $50 or more receive a $10 gift card to Twisted Laurel.
Those who donate $250-$499 will receive a possum pin (while supplies last).
Donors giving $500 or more will receive a possum pin and a MountainTrue Hellbender beanie (both while supplies last).

Drawings:

Donors giving $100 or more will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Second Gear gift card.
