Caring for Children

What They Do:

Celebrating our 50th year in Western NC, Caring for Children supports children and families through The Respite Scholarship Program, providing assistance to pay for childcare, the Angel's Watch Program, providing a temporary placement in a host home during family crises, and Therapeutic and Family Fostercare services when needed. We’re actively recruiting individuals and families across WNC to become full-time or short-term foster parents — people who are ready to make a lasting difference in a child’s life.

Matches:

Thanks to an anonymous donor, any donation of $250 or more will be matched, up to a total of $5,000.

I loved working with the Angels Watch program. It really helped me in a time of need. It made me know that my child was safe and sound while I was getting the help that I needed.
