What They Do:
Helpmate works with our community to eliminate abuse and fear by providing safety, shelter and support for survivors of intimate partner domestic violence. Services include a 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, case management, counseling, outreach and education, children’s services, court advocacy and LGBTQIA+ outreach.

  • Hi-Wire Brewing will offer a free pint of beer to anyone who donates $25 or more.

As they are everywhere, abusive intimate partner relationships are a harsh reality in our community. I have seen the damage they can do, and I have seen the restoration that can occur when the right supports are available. Helpmate has provided services for survivors of intimate partner violence in Buncombe County for over 40 years. Now, more than ever, Helpmate needs our support to continue the mission.
