What They Do:
Homeward Bound believes housing is a human right. Our mission is preventing and ending homelessness in our community through permanent housing and support. Since 2006, we have moved over 2,670 people into housing. In 2024, we had a 96.5% retention rate for clients not returning to homelessness. We offer programs to transition unhoused neighbors into their own homes, including our AHOPE Day Center, homeless prevention, rapid rehousing, permanent supportive housing and our Welcome Home Donation Center.

All donations will be matched dollar for dollar, up to a total of $5,000, by anonymous donors.

Drawings:
  • Donations of $100 or more will be entered into a raffle for a gift basket featuring selections from local breweries.
  • Donors who give $250 or more will be entered into a raffle for a customized dining experience at an Asheville restaurant.
