What They Do:
The mountains of Western North Carolina and East Tennessee are a global biodiversity hotspot, home to rare species, breathtaking scenic views, clean water sources, working farms and beloved trails. Over more than 50 years, Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy has protected almost 100,000 acres in this irreplaceable landscape. Help us create new parks, add to national forests, preserve more family farms, inspire young naturalists and protect more habitat!
