Sunrise Community for Recovery and Wellness

WHAT THEY DO: Sunrise Community for Recovery and Wellness is the first WNC nonprofit that is 100% staffed by certified Peer Support Specialists. Staff members are certified by the state to utilize their lived experience to support others on their pathway to wellness from challenges caused by substance use, mental health, incarceration, houselessness and more. We “meet people where they are” and focus on whole-person wellness through education, resource navigation and authentic peer support for all.

  • Anyone who makes a donation is entered into a drawing for a one-of-a-kind East Fork Pottery breakfast set valued at $116. The mugs are from East Fork’s workshop studio and are hand-thrown and full-dipped and never before sold — a perfect way to start your day.
